Dr. Chika Nwachukwu, a native Austinite, is a doctoral prepared Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who has extensive experience in pain management. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Woman’s University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Illinois at Chicago. With over ten years of healthcare experience and four years of pain management experience, she believes in a personalized, multidisciplinary approach to reduce patients’ level of pain and increase their quality of life.
With her experience as adjunct faculty at the University of Illinois, she recognizes the importance of patient education and evidence-based research interventions. She is currently an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is greatly dedicated to the community.
Since relocating from Chicago back to her hometown of Austin, she loves spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include cycling, painting, enjoying live music, and reading.
